....now, does anyone know a quick way to unlock these or will I have to take it or send it somewhere?

When you get the phone, my son has said if you pm me the 'imei' no. then he can give you the code to unlock it. He has done it successfully to his own and my daughters and some of his mates nokia phones.morbius wrote:Just bought the 7250i for £49.99 for my Girlfriend (her birthday next week) great bargain thanks :-)

Other than that it should only cost £10 - £20 to get it unlocked from an outlet.
 Hope this helps.Sexkitten
Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first

I bought this phone a month or so ago, at double the price may I add. Well, anyway, it wasn't locked when I got it from Argos, but if you are getting it from orange it may well be, but nokias are usually dead easy to unlock.
It's a great phone to use, I am well chuffed with my one. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I'm attracted by the very same one, but "my" review site says (to summarise):ultrak3wl wrote:Thanks to OP. Just bought Nokia 2650, at 39.99 that is brilliant price. These are going buy-it-now at 89.99 on ebay.
It is hard to say anything very positive about this phone, and it confirms the impression that Nokia don't yet "get" clamshells. Our advice would be: "look elsewhere!"
Please let me know what you think - I want one that's reliable, sturdy, small, lightish, good at texting and with an add-to-able dictionary, and LOUD ring/alert tones. Not interested in games and gadgets.
