I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -

I suppose if you say the money does stay within your own community to further more cameras etc and this is the government then possibly true, but the "Tax" is totally voluntary, and not paid by everyone ?0 -

some carhire firms do have small print about endorsments so just check each. some are ok as long as drink or drugs were not involved.
Have to say I always checked before I hired but no one has ever opened my licence to check when I have collected the car.
I would let the car insurance people know. you dont want to give them an excuse not to pay out if you have a bump. mine didnt go up at all, my husbands asked for £15-20.x x x0
