    Isn't office useful - leaving office installed won't be affecting performance.

    Leaving the odd toolbar isn't going to make a great deal of difference, but you should be able to disable them from within IE

  • Sh*t - I was in the config startup and managed to DISABLE ALL! HELP please!

    Re Office - I use OpenOffice - never use the other.

    if you mean the startup tab, just re-enable the ones that went, avast, wltray, synaptics etc

    if you are talking about the startup tab, they are listed above - assuming you didn't disable all services (which would really mess things up)

    OK Done. Next bit - start, run services.msc -- get message services.msc not found?

    and no longer have the config startup tab (no tabs). Have I really messed up?

    can be done with msconfig, be careful you only disable the suggested ones

    msconfig startup tab missing?
