Plus if a cyclist does manage to get themselves KSI'd through their own dangerous cycling. There's still a chance of a significant psychological effect on the faultless driver that can in extreme cases prevent them from being able to drive.

Ok, but if it was the other way round, the cyclist would be dead, not just psychologically scarred.

try googling magnatom guy with a hidden agenda up here in glasgow this guy is a doctor who should know better before he gets himself killed i have had personal experience with this no brain who gives good cyclists a bad name.

most cyclists are qiute carefull in my opinion

Have seen him (on youtube), I don't see anything wrong with his riding, however his habit of screaming at everyone whom he perceives has having passed to close is a bit irritating.

From what I read he p*ssed off the wrong guy who then set about making trouble for him with his employers.

If cyclists wish to be taken seriously they should display registration plates (front, rear and quite possibly side) and hold mandatory insurance so that any damage they cause can be paid for. Fines should also be made a possibility for bad/dangerous behaviour (crossing red lights, to name an example).

stay in your lane if traffic is moving slowly in queues. If the queue on your right is moving more slowly than you are, you may pass on the left

He is entitled to pass on the left but if the car is indicating it's clearly not wise. He would not have the right of way.
