I'm the one wearing furry boots (I've got 3 pairs now, all bought on special offer (of course!
)), talking about cooking and usually wearing or carrying something yellow (my favourite colour).
Oh, and I've got one of these attached to my keys.
And quoting various facts that no one else would EVER know!LMAO - reminds me of the look on these teens face when OH dropped me at a cash point and I had Linkin Park absolutely pounding from the speakers - and yelled at him 'Dont turn that back to Real Radio - I'm LISTENING to it'! bless them - they gave me a round of applause and shouted 'way to go, gran'!!!!!
Like your style, meritaten, even if our tastes are different!0 -
A poster on one of the other forums once told me that they pictured me as an older lawyer-type gent sitting in an office lined with learned tomes.
They only got one thing right: I am older but a semi-literate woman, with long blonde curly hair who's rarely spotted wearing anything other than black, usually sporting one of my favourite doom or stoner rock-band T-shirts, a hoody and biker boots.0 -

Yeah but another night it could have been Iron Maiden or Mozart!
I have um 'eclectic' taste in music. (I actually like Dolly Parton despite not liking country and western!)0 -

What we used to do back in the CB Radio days was organise an 'Eyeball' where people we used to chat to on air would meet up, seen some right old loons back in the day, can't imagine what nut case's lurk on the internet, best keep to type-talkSince when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

I can! On one of the minority-interest music forums I loiter on I've met loads of board-members in real life at music fests in the US and Europe over the years. Even had some of them stying at my house. People from all over the world: Amerikanskis, Brits from all corners, Peru, Chile, Aussies, Kiwis and the usual Eurotrashers and never met a dud yet. Met heaps of people who didn't look in real life the way I imagined them to be, but that was my fault not theirs.0 -
I'm the one in the Metrocentre with DD pushing the pram with grandson 2yrs who hates actually going into the shops . He screams, loudly . Usually on a Friday , if you hear that sound , it's him ! We are the women trying to look unharrassed as people turn to stare . I know it's a man thing , but did he have to start disliking shops so young.0

I am another 5 ft 4 round lady who will also be seen in the supermarket with a list in my hand looking for the ingredients for my meal plan and for yellow sticker bargins. If I have one of my daugthers or the OH with me I will be trying to share my OS knowledge with them
If I am in the car there will either radio 2 or a classic rock CD (currently Ozzy) playing very loudlyI am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order.
