    I think you would need planning permission as well as building regs. in England but I don't know about Scotland.

    You can buy a shower tray quite easily at 700mmx700mm but it is a real squeeze to get into (depending on your size!). The Ideal Space suite mentioned has got some lovely items in it; for slightly cheaper suites designed for small spaces check out Fordham Ratio and Twyford Galerie Optimise.
