bare minerals have got an offer on in this month's top sante for a free makeover and I think free foundation?? Have a look at this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3092480

http://www.nealsyardremedies.com/nyr-cosmetics Have not tried their make up but neals yard do great skincare all their products are paraben free. They have high street shops, list here:

  • Have a look at lily lolo. They aren't high street but they do very good value sample pots for foundation so you can find your colour then order online and it works out much cheaper than most mineral makeup. They are the best mineral powder I've ever used I like them much more than bare minerals.
  • I made a switch to natural and organic products a few years ago, and my acne has disappeared, which I've had from about 12 to age 30. It's definitely helped my skin - but the downside is the lack of availability on the high street sadly. I don't know what specific reason you have for buying it on the high street, but if you can I would shop online for your make up as the organic stuff is much cheaper online. Or if you have a good health food shop around, they may be able to order products in for you. Inika does brill mineral foundation and blusher (my blusher is about 2 years old and is not even a quarter used!), and the mineral foundation lasts for about 3 months at a time. I use Elysambre eye shadows which are expensive (£9) but last for ages as they are mineral based as well. For mascara I use mainstream products I'm afraid, as that false lash and waterproof stuff isn't natural! I have a book called the Green Beauty Bible and they recommend Korres, Living Nature and Dr Hauschka mascaras. The Inika mineral foundation acts as a fairly reasonable concealer as well.

If you have a look on their websites, most will give a list of local stockists and ingredients lists so that you can double check.
  • You would be surprised how many if the big brands products do actually contain parabens. I came across this blog which has loads of interesting information parabenfree.co - from this site I found a link to myonpure.co.uk which only sells paraben free products. All of the ones that I have tried are excellent.
  • Amazing products, parabens/glycerin/mineral oil free.

They work on a word of mouth but I can certainly put you in touch. :)
