Another month of over budget. Butchers spend of 23.00 yesterday. Will hopefully not need anything else but we all know how that can change.
Food shop has been good this month, it's the eating out that has sent us way over. As I hit 40 this month we have had a few meals out and of course the work cakes.
Just hoping that I can finally get on budget one month. I have currently been get my shopping delivered from Waitrose as it's been the cheapest (mysupermarket). Seem to be shopping every 2 weeks at the things are lasting that long and I have also been bulk buying a few items especially cat food.
Thanks for listening to my ramblings.

Placed an Appr*ved Foods order this morning then went out to Asd* (spend £30.85) then Ald* (spend £35.56) then to L*dl (spend £29.14) plus £15 at the local butcher for shin beef, steaks and some lovely lamb chopsGoing to make a nice meal for 2 on Tuesday so got a few goodies for that.
Will add the AF total to my sig when it arrives end of next week. No more big shops to do, just milk and some cat food end of next week or so. Lots more NSD's to come

Quick question ......
Does anyone know if any of the sm / any other shops sell big bags of Risotto rice?
I've only been able to find 500g bags (Mr S, Mr A & Mr T) and as I use a lot of this, they last no time and it's a pain in the "what not"!

I have 2 spends to report today! I went to the coop to buy 2 packs of their half price loo rolls and also had a 50p voucher so got both for £5.10. Then went to MrT to spend clubcard vouchers and got:
3 x bleach
3 x white vinegar
3 x porridge oats
5 x value baby shampoo (used as shower gel)
6 x white bread flour
value malt loaf
value mini gems
jar robertsons mincemeat (half price, and so good in baked apples/porridge!)
value cooking bacon (for faggot recipe on next weeks meal plan)
That came to £11.07, but went down to £3.57! Thats how I like my shopping bills! I don't usually shop in MrT, so I got things that would keep and that are cheaper than where I normally shop.0 -

Total - £59.68
I think that is all the shops together above. If I find anymore I will add them on when I find them in a different post so I don't confuse myself.
We used £16.18 of coupons. Which means we have used around £50 worth of coupons this year so far!
I also picked up a free 200ml provamel almond milk and a free 10 pack of green tea.
I did also do a shop in H&B that came to £10 but as I used a £10 voucher I got for Yule for that I am not counting it towards the year. Bought a lot of treat stuff that I don't often get.

Suffolk_lass wrote: »Hi Everyone, I used to run a restaurant and I have varied (and reduced) the recipe we had there to make some Low calorie spicy coleslaw - Just as nice with or without the chilli. Uses low calorie dressing instead of mayonnaise.
One third of a white cabbage,
One small onion,
One large carrot, all chopped finely or shredded and mixed together (food processor is brilliant) - your preference how chunky or fine.
One green chilli, chopped as small as you can and mixed through the other veg
Add a fine drizzled zig zag of Pizza Expre** low calorie (original, not caesar) salad dressing, a little lemon juice (no more then half a lemon or 4 shakes of a bottle) and about half a dozen twists of freshly ground black pepper. Mix it all together. If it is too dry add a tiny bit more dressing (but it can always be added, it can't be removed).
This is tangy with a bit of bite from the chilli (optional) and is plenty for 3-4 good veg portions and I love it with Jacket Potato and a little soured cream (not so slimming).
Those of you doing SW will want to measure the dressing as this is the only part with syn count.
Oh that sounds lovely, I make my own but it tends to be very plain, cabbage, onion, carrot and celery mixed with cheap mayo, but having read this think I will be a bit more adventurous.Thank youSlimming World at target0 -
