£3.00 to DH for a sandwich as I forgot to take bread out of the freezer last night. Still haven't done it because it is the one in the garage and I was out late tonight. May give him chilli tomorrow as it is in the kitchen freezer and I don't have to go out in the cold.

Also spent £2.29 on some sensitive toothpaste for DH who is complaining of toothache. Don't think it's toothpaste he needs, it's a dentist:eek:

I have made 2 shopping lists, one for Ald1 and one for Mr T. I have to drop DH at work on Saturday morning and both are next door to his work so will do my shopping there. I am planning to buy a few packs of the super 6 blueberries and make some muffins.

Off to find out how you bake potatoes in the SC as mentioned by a previous poster.
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75
  • £80.65 on my first Mr T order of Feb. Hopefully will last a week and a half.

Helen jelly I don't mind being a number, or there not being a list at all. It must be so much work!

Morning all, managed to take DD to school and NOT visit the coop to see if there are any bargains!

i think coops have some sort of magnetic pull...did u get any of the 100 % extra b1g1f penguins (not the cute animal) the chocolate variety ?:D
I got some of these. Couldn't believe my luck! Kids love them in their lunchboxes because they have jokes (usually bad). Pity the poor kids who sit next to them! Good offer though.
  • Budgets noted to post 195 - I'll update the front page later

    I was having a little think [DH says thats always dangerous lol] I have to write down everyones name and then their budget and then go to my first post and change/add everyone on, the writing part takes ages!! so I was trying to think how to make it quicker/easier and the only way I could come up with is to give everyone a number instead of your name i.e. Helenjelly £250 would change to 75 £250 - saves lots of time when I'm writing loads of names down - can anyone see any probs with that or is it a carp way of doing it or if you prefer to keep your name then that is soo ok with meQUOTE}

    Thanks

Hi HJ, I am happy to go with whatever makes it easier for you - am just grateful that you are spending your valuable time running this thread so thank you:T:T

Btw, does anyone know how you can mark what you last post was that you read as I have spent the last 10 minutes trying to find out where I left it last? Thank you
    Helen x

Xspender, when I forget to take bread out of the freezer, I take it out when I am making the sandwiches and take out however many slices I need, separate them and leave them on the side for about 10 minutes, by that time they have defrosted enough to make the sandwich and by the time they are being eaten, they are fresh as new ;)

I popped into Sainsburys today and treated myself to a new Indian Cookery book with my nectar points, also some chillies and a coriander plant. Went to Asda on the way home and picked up four pots of double cream half price which are now freezing nicely in ice cube trays :) Have updated my signature and well on track.
What a great idea. Used to freeze baby food like this but wouldn't of thought of cream. Thanks!

    Quick update,
£11 in ALDI as out all afternoon getting DS05 passport pictures, who knew it could be so difficult!!!!? and then the MIL was coming for tea, and no time to cook the gammon. Decided to do chinese, so needed some veg and cooked chicken. DD13 also wanted peanut butter and jam on sandwiches for school lunch, so got sucked into getting that also!
My sister got me a morrisons MOC, but don't think I can afford it, or really justify spending £34. Will have to MOC like mad to get the total down, or I will be over for the month. will work it out tomorrow.
Hope all are doing better than me and keeping warm!!!
    Sally.
    Oh also,
I don't mind being a number, or anything really!!
Just as long as i'm not continuing to waste cash, I don't really care!
Just being on here is enough to keep me in check! I hate having to report my bad behaviour!
oh, and thanx to all who keep the thread going!!!
