    Evening all!

Jinty - so glad things went well today, I suspect the reason your manager feels under so much stress is she's been over-managing. Hopefully things will be better all round.

IF - forgot to say, I got the book with those baby instructions for my brother last year - in his case I think he prob needed them!

Thank you lovely people for the advice on the yougharts.
They were WW & I dident like the toffee ones but the natural ones were ok.

Beanie - I'm ashamed to say I've eaten a yoghurt that's more than a week (or possibly two) out of date :o actually, I've prob eaten plenty more besides (yep, I'm one of those people who will cut the mould off cheese and eat it - no the cheese not the mould - I'm not IGOR! :rotfl:)

I go by the smell, look, taste book - worked fine (most of the time) for our ancestors, and some of our food is so full of preservatives I'm amazed they bother with dates. Actually, I did eat a cheese truckle this xmas ...whcih had Jan 2011 as a date on it - it was fine, it had been encased in airtight wax since I'd purchased it. Only things I'm funny about is fish/seafood and chicken.

speaking of food - no NSD for me, i went back for the onions (called the store first) 3kg for £1 :j and boy am I glad I did go back, usually there's not a lot in the reductions when I go - WELL today they were just reducing a ton of meat... I picked up 4 x packs of mince, corn fed chicken breast and filet steak (would have loved to get more but didn't want to be greedy and was worried about freezer space)

Total before reduction £22, Total after reduction £11.55
Total paid by me (incl onions, couple of carrots and Activia yogs) after APG (the only ones I had on me) £7.97 :j (virtually the price the steak alone would have been!) also wombled another receipt, APG £1.97  Yes, I'm feeling a little smug tonight. All meat despatched into freezer bags and tucked into my freezer.... except the extra special Aberdeen Angus mince which got made into mince and tattied tonight - nom nom, tasted just like my FIL makes :D

Sorry for the waffle - I'm a little hyped up after my bargains...need to get out more (or perhaps less?) xx

    Good Morning

Just checking in to report another I managed 3 NSDs while I was away. I was very careful and managed to spend only what I had taken with me. I did buy some bottles in the Duty Free for someone else but they will give me the money when I give them to him so I am not counting that.

Takes me up to NSD #10 :j:j and I am not nearly as broke as I thought I would be after a weekend in Disney :)

    Have a great Tuesday x x
