    Hello again!

I managed to go one extra than my target in January even though I thought I would never actually get there, so I am really going to push myself this time and go for...

    15 NSDs with 3 in a row

First time attempting the 'in a row' challenge so I will see how I do.

    Good Luck everyone!!

    Hi lovely gang :A

Wow.. it isn’t even February yet and we’re up to page 3...... I think this could be another busy month :T

A big welcome to all the newbies joining us, it’s great to have you on board. If you’re not sure about anything please ask, we’re very friendly and there’s usually someone around to help. Feel free to join in with the chat and general nonsense on here, we’re fairly tame (well, most of the time, if you humour us). Good luck with your first NSD challenge - keep posting, that’s the secret to success here.

:hello:2catsandme - hi, yes of course you may join. All signed up for 18 now, good luck.
Well done for sounding very organised, that’s the way to nab those pesky NSDs

:hello:beth2242 - hi and welcome. You’re not doing anything wrong at all, all you need to do is turn up and say you’d like to join. All signed up for 15 now, you can do it!
Wow.. you do have a busy month ahead, never mind, we’ll give you lots of encouragement to make your target. For tips have a look at the post that If puts up at the top of every page, there are some great tips there or just ask - we’re very helpful and will happily help you if we can.

:hello:deeleybopper - hi and welcome. All signed up for 6 now. Good luck you can do it!
6 is much better than 0, , it’s probably best to aim low to start with.

:hello:gailey - hi and welcome. All signed up for 6 now. Good luck you can do it!
There is nothing pathetic about 6 NSDs, they can be quite hard to nab some months and, as this is your first challenge, it’s probably best to aim low to start with.
No, they don’t have to be in a row, this is just an extra challenge some of the gang go for to get some extra motivation, and it doesn’t have to be based on last month either. It really is what you think you can aim for each month and what will help you to reduce your spending.
    Hope that helps xx

:hello:Mumtothree3 - of course you may join, you’re very welcome. All signed up for 10 now, you can do it!

:hello:pinkpinkuk - hi and welcome. All signed up for 6 now. Good luck you can do it!
I like your logic, we’ll help you celebrate when your first target hits the dust

:hello:Richy23 - hi and welcome. All signed up for 12 now and 4 in a row, you can do it!
Don’t forget to ask if we can help with anything x

Can you please put me down for 14 this month. I've reduced the number from Jan as I didn't do well at all and I'm feeling a bit depressed. I break it for silly things, like downloading a book, or buying fruit which I should have added to my weekly shopping list. I don't go out and have coffee, lunches etc - I used to, I was a leading light in 'ladies that do lunch' but not any more, and I can't bear to think of all the money I've wasted - I'm now feeling even more depressed. It's 1am and time to climb into the land of nod.
  • Good morning everyone!

Thanks for this month's shiny new thread Spoon! :T

Please can I pledge my usual lucky 19 NSDs and 6 NSDs in-a-row? Thank you! :starmod:

  • Hi everyone
Thanks for starting us off and looking after us all with a new month's challenge Spoon, LMH and IF :T

I am a BIG fan of cake so am very excited about this months prizes! :D

Think this month I'm going to aim for 12NSDs and 6 in a row, which I'm not convinced I can do but will try my best!

I'm not going to include petrol this month as it tends to make me spend more money because I've already given up a NSD so buy other things - hopefully by not including them I won't be tempted to buy the other things and therefore save more money (fingers crossed)!

Might be a challenge this month as my car insurance, mot and service are all due as well as going on holiday - can't see many nsds happening that week!
No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.
    Target for 2018 = 7/21
No more buying DVDs ? 2018 target 27/52

  • Hi,can I please be put down for 17 please,plus 4-in-a-row.

    That'll give me 12 potential spending days or 3 per week,which I should manage.I do like a 'logical' approach!:D

    Thanks.
