  • lashley82 – good luck with your darts match!! Don’t worry about those NSD’s, you’re doing great & they will come!!

Cheers but sadly a first round defeat :( Combination of cold an nerves = the shakes. Not good and makes things a lot more tough

Shame though I was one nil up and went to check out a 130 in the second leg, hit the treble 20, hit the 20, fluffed the bull. Fella I was playing then took out his double to even up and then with wind in his sails took the decider. He's a good player though

Thats why I love the game though, it both elates you and crushes you lol

Going through a few surveys now toknacker myself out then I'm off to my hidey hole. Definite NSD planned for tomorrow :)

Thank you both ..... tbh I'm dreading it :( - most things don't phase me too much but I'm claustrophobic . Having to lie still in a teeennnnny loo roll which sounds like it's had a bad curry the night before isn't my first choice on how to spend a morning!:o

I have had one before but it was the open ended machine (and they did have to pull me out when I 1st went in when I had a bit of a panic) but at least once I was in, I could see out the end and managed to get through it .... this ones at a diff hosp and just dreading that it's one of the sealed unit scanners ..... really not sure I could handle that.:(

(((hugs))) rising, Nora's right, hospitals are used to people being nervous of the scanners, hopefully you'll have a lovely kind nurse to hold your hand.

Will be thinking about you tomorrow xxx
    Evening everyone...
Thankfully I'm less stiff than I was yesterday, but work is really properly stressing me out - there's a lot of rubbish going on that I wish I wasn't involved in but I keep getting dragged into. I just keep hoping and praying that this job application I put in elsewhere is successful. I know my chances are small, but I really think it's time for me to move on.

and (((hugs))) for you wannabe, fingers firmly crossed for your application. It's horrible when you get dragged into things that are nothing to do with you.
    Take care xxx

    Hi lovely gang:A

Firstly thanks to BDINI for tonight's update:A, to LMH for last night's update:A and Freeby for Sunday's update:A.

Freeby's back again tomorrow so I'm having a lovely holiday :D

I've been catching up with the posts and a few of us are in the wars at the moment, (((hugs))) to anyone needing one - not as pretty as the hug in If's post but the meaning is the same:)

I'll update the front page tomorrow but you're all doing brilliantly.

    See you all tomorrow

NSD here so far. Came home from work ill this morning and am currently rocking the jammies and a big jumper look :o

Once I remember how many NSDs I've had already I'll come back and announce which one this is.

Me too, Fresian! I was feeling rotten yesterday morning, went to work but was on the train home at 10.30AM! By 11.30 I was in my jammies in kip with HWB. Slept most of the day, hence now awake at silly o'clock drinking tea and gabbing on here!

    Hope you feel better today.

    Good morning folks,

No more NSD's to report, but today should be one.

I am feeling better ( see post above)- but have got appt for doc this afternoon. I will go into work this morning but leave early to go to that.

Have got some fleabay items finishing today so with a bit of luck I'll end the day in profit!

BTW - enjoyed the chat about the underground, really interesting. I love social history too!
In a couple of weeks, I am going on a lunchtime tour of the original Bank of Scotland building. Its all to do with the origins of the bank and they take you round the old vaults etc. Plus, it's a beautiul building (our Edinburgh MSE'ers will know the one) so it will be good to see it from the inside!
I am also going on a tour of the Scottish Parliament building, which is about 20mins from where I live but to my shame I have never been inside:o
Plus - both tours are free, so its all good!

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

    Good Morning, :)

No more NSDs to report. Went out for lunch and bought some liquid gold  but that should be me organised until Friday when I need to buy some Euros for Disneyland. Going to try to stay in budget while I'm there but as I have no idea what anything costs and I am expecting it to be :eek::eek: it's gonna be a bit difficult.

See you later with the update but in the meantime....Have a great Wednesday x x

    Good morning folks,

Just popping in to declare NSD6 for yesterday.
Will report back later as to whether or not today has been an NSD. I hope everyone is well, as I haven't had a chance to catch up on the posts.
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    Hello!

NSDs now stand at 2 for me! Having a slow start this month as a few unexpected expenses like phone insurance excess, antibiotics for the dog and so on. Really need to get a grip this month now!!
