Number 13 for me today :j:j
Had a good week for batch cooking, so that's my grocery bill sorted for the next few weeks as the freezer is heaving!!
Rubbish TV tonight, so think i might treat myself to an early night with a cuppa & a good bookFebruary NSD challenge 5/150 -

Enid Blyton books - I don't know who mentioned these (sorry) but we were talking about them at work the other day, I used to LOVE them. I named my sister after a character in Secret Seven! But I think they may be a bit outdated with their views now! Must see if I can find mine at my parents!
JCG x
Think that was me, I got a bit whimsical talking about the change in seasons and referenced I might have read too many Enid Blyton booksIt was the Famous Five for me btw, we used to have a book club at my primary school (could put money on a savings card then buy second hand books) and I think I got most of mine from there. I always wanted to be George (I was a real tomboy growing up) and wanted a dog like Timmy.
Rising - take it easy and hope you're feeling more like yourself soon xx
Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes....(sorry that sounds dodgy) but I would like to decare NSD # 11 :j Did buy milk, but that doesn't count in my challenge as I'd rather have no food in the house than no milk for tea (I have even used cat milk before
)
IF - your pic today is very apt...I decided to give up choc for lent. Did it once before and it nearly did me in. Not for any religious reason, just as a personal challenge as I seem to be eating more of it than I used to, and hopefully it will be good for the waistline...so, only 39 days, 3hrs and 29 mins to go.....
and on top of that, I have a friend training to be a Rosey C trainer, and I've just volunteered to be a human guinea pig for her teaching a full aerobics class...which is fine but I haven't done an aerobics class since I was at school and the only grapevine I am familiar with are those which grow my vino :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: wish me luck!Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hi everyone
Not been on for a couple of days - I got a phone call Monday asking me to a job interview today. I've spent the past 3 days neglecting my entire life and preparing for this interview - and no, I didn't get the job. However, I did come out of there thinking perhaps I should be more grateful for the job that I do already have.
So, I came home and treated myself to food and drink from M&S to console myself. But I did manage to catch nsd's #9 and 10 on Monday and Tuesday. It'll be tight to reach target this month but I may get there yet.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
Hi folks,
Speaking of lent, I may have overindulged on the vino last week and have decided to see if I can stay off it for the majority of lent. I say the majority because I've a 50th Birthday party to attend at the end of March, but am going to try to give it a miss. That's the only grapevine I'm familiar with too Kerri and I am amused no end. You've depressed me with the number of days left though, even to the 29th March:eek:. I'll give it a go though and will be impressed with myself if I get past Friday night, as there is nothing better than a glass of red for red on a Friday! Dear God, I'm a wineaholic:rotfl:If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

wow! I'm impressed Red... at least I chose something easy to give up :rotfl::rotfl:I think the hardest thing for me (apart from wine, and choc) would be tea.... given I have prob at least 8 cups a day. I find it hard enough when I travel to Asia and can't get a decent cup for a week (yes, would you believe that for all the tea in china, the starbucks near our office doesn't have english breakfast tea :rotfl:)
So... I'm doing choc, Red is doing wine (give or take a few days)...anyone else joining us on the lent bus?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Yep, I'm giving up 'bad' sugar  So I can still have fruit but nothing really yummy like gingerbread lattes or chocolateNot for religious reasons, like you kerri, just because I want my skin to look better and hopefully lose a few lbs
Hats off to you red, I considered alcohol for less than a millisecond then laughed myself silly :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

But I started on Monday rather than today, having got on the scales on Monday and had an awful fright over the amount I've put back on in the last 3 months (since I gave up work and started seeing my chap)
So it's back to logging everything I eat/drink and all the exercise I do on the diet and fitness website I useCheryl0 -
