Aw hun, you've made me feel loads better :o I do think I need to be more direct with DH because when I get emotional and 'female' about stuff he doesn't react well to it and he doesn't know what to do.. which is usually when he shouts off and loses his temper. The thing is - in that respect we're complete opposites entirely, he's not one to show emotional, have 'talks' etc. But I'm very emotional and don't care who sees me cry etc and I do need to talk to feel better.

My Mum does have financial stuff going on of her own at the minute and I do let her have her vent as well but she does tend to look at everything with a 'how does this affect my life' type attitude lately. Although I'm very close to her sometimes I think she's unknowingly a bit selfish. :o

I feel loads better just for your advice because without knowing it, you've completely hit the nail on the head and got it all spot on.

    Thanks hun x :o

  • Have a (((((hug)))) sweetpeas, hopefully you'll have a better day tomorrow.

Nothing much to add this evening except I'm becoming hooked by netflix :heart2: only downside is I can't run sbtv and browse whilst watching because I use my laptop. (And my netbook is... well a little sick). Now I'm putting serious thought into making the TV I'm planning to buy a smart TV - or maybe a cheaper TV and Blu ray with internet (lets face it at some point I'm buying blu-ray):rotfl:. I'm all about the money saving.

I did order my 2nd sw@gbucks Am*zon voucher of the month today :D. I'll add it when they arrive.

You are merely voicing what I am thinking :o
    Thank you :)
  • Add another 99p from eBay, plus savings of £7.24 at Saneberries yesterday. I had never looked up the vouchers before and was glad I did because I got a free chocolate pudding out of it for last night's supper :T
The underpayment from the Tax Credits arrived earlier than expected so I managed to pay into the overdrafts early and that makes me very happy :j
As my boss would say 'Doing rightly' :)
