    Me again:D

P.S Must learn how to do multiquote and then I wont clog up a whole page :rotfl:

Lol :rotfl: Instead of just pressing quote you just click the speach bubbles for every post you want to comment on and then on the last one you click the normal 'quote' button and it adds them all to your reply box :D

Well done on the mortgage arrears hun - brill news

Had a really naff weekend so far, me and DH have been at each others throats non stop so far this weekend.. it's getting pretty much the norm at weekends of late and it's really getting me down. It's as though we hate each other :(

I hate my job completely and I spent Mon-Thurs waiting for Friday to come and then when it gets here I just have a horrible weekend arguing with DH non stop.

Sorry to come on and moan again. x

Yes am chuffed about the mortgage arrears thanks :)

Sorry to hear about you and DH :( its no wonder you finding it tough - and you are allowed to moan, you are with friends here :D

without wanting to pry...... do you think its 'just' the financial situation that is causing so much conflict with you two? If it is i know it can be really helpful to sit down and just talk about the fact that its horrible between you both at the minute and look at ways to start working as a team again rather than against each other. It can be amazing just how those words can make a difference!

Feel free to PM me if you need a chat BTW ;)

    Thanks hun :o

I don't know what it is any more.. DH isn't one for talking and the whole issue today is actually because i've tried to talk to him about finance. It's difficult for me because DH wont talk, and my Mum without knowing she is doing it tends to turn it round to make it into something about herself. For example I rang her yesterday to moan about our home insurance renewal quote and by the time I'd put the phone down all I'd heard was how their bills have gone up and she wants to cut her hours at work and might put in for voluntary redundancy etc. So I do feel like I've got no one to talk to sometimes. Most times :o I think that's why I come on here and rant and vent so much - I do feel like you lot understand more :o

Basically, the new car will leave us with £430/month living money after all the bills etc. I was saying how it was going to be a bit tight and he started shouting at me saying I was the one that said we could afford it etc. Fact is, when I looked at our figures initially the gas was £35 and it's now £97 to clear debit and the gas has gone from £68 to £102. (not a huge amount but another £90odd is alot when you only start with £430 isn't it) So when the home insurance renewal quote came yesterday it just kind of tipped me over the edge and I got upset and started crying. So he told me I was being stupid and didn't need to cry.. :(

God I'm sorry, I'm right morbid this week aren't I. And it's completely off subject. Well, not completely cos it's all finance related that we're falling out in the first place.

No you aren't morbid you are just finding things tough and not sure where to turn, aren't you? It is finance related and i am more than sure you are not the only one on this thread feeling this way hun!!

Without trying to make out that i know it all or anything even close to that (:rotfl::rotfl:) , do you mind if i just make a wee observation from what you have said? It sounds like you have been worrying about things and tried to speak to your OH and your mum about your worries - thats what we do isn't it?? we feel unhappy etc and so we do the whole 'moaning about stuff' thing.

In my experience when we moan about things other people either join in (like your mum did) or get annoyed (like your OH). I tend to find that men especially don't understand the female moaning thing - they don't know what it is you want (sorry to any men who do 'get it') and they tend to respond to black and white - clear directions about what you need. If you need him to help come up with a solution say to him "I need your help with this, can you sit with me and look at these figures and see if we can solve this problem together?" Its not emotional, its factual, clear and directed at problem solving not just talking about the problem.

With your mum - maybe she is caught up in her own stuff, i don't know. It could also be that you haven't told her you need help/support/a shoulder to cry on, whatever it is you need.

I have found that usually when someone doesn't get what they need from a conversation with someone who does love and care about them its because that person just doesn't understand what you are asking for.

I hope some of that makes sense and doesn't come across in the wrong way  - I also might be completely wrong here - obviously i know very little about any of you personally :o

Also just to add.......I'm bloody rubbish at asking for what i need so i'm one to talk!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
