sorry i've not read any previous posts. i've got loads to do and no time to do it.

Just wanted to update that I've got ebay stuff finished and done as well as an asda voucher used, also another £10 amazon in my inbox today and my first payout from super points. :T

If I get around to it I will update my signature....but I'm not sure if I will before I reset it to 0. :rotfl:

Have done a lot more work and have another job tomorrow and one next week, but payout will not be until March.

I am about £100 short of target this month, and could have done with that so can pay nursery

Hi all quick update on my mum - she is back at home after having a brain scan(can't remember the proper name). But I am annoyed with her. She was going to walk to the hospital until I told her she must take the bus at least. I asked how she got home she said the hospital had ordered her a taxi. My niece who was visiting her then came on the phone and told me, the hospital did indeed order a taxi but because it took too long to arrive she walked. Arrangements are being made for her to get a home help. I told her she must not tidy up before the home help arrives. We had one when I was younger and mum was ill, and thats exactly what she used to do. Whilst I was talking to my niece I could hear my mum in the background. Instead of sitting down and resting she was pottering about doing things in the kitchen ie. not relaxing and not resting. She finds it impossible to stay still for any length of time and when she does she is still not relaxed as she is worrying about things. I have a friend (who is the same age as my mum) who had a stroke a few years ago. She said this is a warning to mam and she must take heed and rest, otherwise she will end up like her, having to learn to walk etc. My sisters and I are so frustrated because short of tying her down we cannot make her rest. I did not go to visit her as by the time I heard she was back home it was 7pm and that's her bedtime.

Anyway, I'm off to investigate this toilet roll offer of Nats.

Do you think encouraging her to talk to you about why she's unable to relax will help? Or talking to someone else about it?

I managed to get through to the site but they are not in my area.

Re Mum; Mum has no problem talking but whilst she's talking she gets herself worked up so it is a viscious circle.
