Kodak Hero 5.1 printer not working
Comments

Thanks - done that now. The error doesn't identify itself unfortunately - just 'error while printing'. However we're now back to the coded ones - just the same as before and all of them have the same solution - uninstall, reinstall, turn off, turn on, restart etc etc. scream - oh no sorry I added that last one myself!
Would a hijack this log be of any use?
Sorry to be so clueless but any advice is more than welcome.Marg0 -

Thanks for your help though - followed it to the letter but no go I'm afraid - different code coming up now - 105-100007 but with the same solution 'Turn off your printer and computer. Restart the printer. Follow the printer LCD prompts to clear any error conditions. Start the computer. Run the KODAK Printer Setup Utility again etc etc.'
Hi Margaret,
I intermittently get error code 105-100007 when trying to print to my Kodak Hero 1.5 printer. This has been since I upgraded to Windows 8 Pro (64bit).
I have tried deleting and reinstalling both the drivers and the Kodak Home Centre software all to no avail. Sometimes a reboot of Windows 8 gets me going but more often it does not.
Luckily, I left the Windows Vista Pro (32bit) on my PC (i.e. my PC is what is termed "Dual Boot" and I can choose to run either version of Windows). The Kodak Hero 5.1 works every time when I run Vista Pro. This, therefore, proves that all the hardware and cables are 100% ok.
I believe my problem must be with the printer drivers for Windows 8. I have a case raised with Kodak but it is very slow going with them so far. I'll post an update if I ever get a resolution from them.
What version of Windows are you using?
Does anyone else have a problem with the Hero 5.1 and Windows 8?
Has anyone been successfully using the Hero 5.1 with Windows 8 without problems?
Many thanks0 -
