Bluetooth Dongle's for d500?

I cant get my belkin bluetooth usb adaptor to work with my d500 phone which i just received,my adaptor worked fine with my t610 but does not seem to work with the d500 why?
Is there something on the phone that needs to be done i have paired them and when i select bluetooth on the phone my computer gets it but my computer cant find my phone as when i try and transfer something from my computer to my phone it does not work.
What do i need to do to make this work i have only windows xp

Is your phone showing as visibile? can your other phone find it? if so can your other phone send stuff to the d500? and can your pc send stuff to your t610?

I tried what you said my other phone can send to my d500 but i tried what you said if my pc can send to my t610 and no it does not work also.

So whats happening as i did not have trouble with it before and its hardly been used.

So really its not sending from my pc to both phones it just fails in sending.

And it did show my phone on the bluetooth page.

Can you help?

It sounds like your bluetooth isnt setup/configured or installed correctly, you mentioned in another post there is a question mark in your bluetooth places, is there a blue and white icon in your system tray? What operating system are you using? that could have a baring on it.

when the screen light goes off it only shows date/time and the grey screen nothing else?

is this normal or my phone faulty?

its normal, all phones do that when the keypad is locked (when the slide is down the keypad locks automatically)

Yeah that is when the slide is up or on most other phones after hitting the keypad. But once it is locked the keys can't be touched and its goes into a battery saving mode after a few seconds (Phone is still on and will alarm you etc for an incoming call). Really isn't a problem, don't worry about it.
