Yeah they have buyer protection programme.

Ok so to get this straight. 1. Ask the seller for a refund after a few more days.

Now assuming they say no - do I go through ebays dispute policy or do I just go straight to paypal?

If straight to paypal - how do I file a complaint through them - is it straight forward?

    Thanks for anyone's advice.....

  • Have you contacted your local delivery office?
Often parcels get returned as not called for, usually as the postman forgot to leave a card so the customer didn't know about a delivery attempt!! This happens quite frequently from my experience.

  • Go via Paypal rather than eBay, if your Paypal claim fails it gets automatically processed as an Ebay standard purchase protection claim.

To file log into paypal and click on resolution centre in top menu bar.

I get this a lot so a quick call to my local sorting office just to check they haven't got anything for me saves a lot of hassle. The postman has often run out of cards so can't leave one (that is their excuse).

Have also had people I have sent post to going on at me for not receiving the item then, several weeks later, the item gets returned to me by Royal Mail as "not collected".

if you paid by Paypal and try to fill in an Ebay claim, it will tell you to go via Paypal anyway.
