Managed to take this week off work as holiday so that gives me a bit of breathing space to try and come up with a plan.
Hmmm....0 -
do you live at home with your parents?0
-
No I rent on my own (with my dog!).
Have thought of putting a saddle on him and riding him to work but he wasn't keen on that idea!0 -

Thanks RG,
I hope so too!
Maybe he would agree to pulling a carriage instead...0 -
You WILL be fine
And that coming from the world's biggest pessimist :rotfl:.0 -
Ta,
I know I will be fine, just maybe not so comfortable for a while!
Trying to look at the positives. I have a weeks holiday now that will give me chance to catch up on all the odd jobs at home I have been putting off, and get in some exercise.
Will allow myself 2 hours a day to stress about the car, and no more.

Well, I am very impressed with your go get 'em attitude and stance considering your cirumstances
Good luck to you, I know you will come out the other side of this dark chapter.
Keep on running.0 -

Reading the success stories on here, it looks like once you put your mind to it anything is possible.
Just got to get my head down and get on with some hard work to shift my debts. Once I have worked out a transport solution.
Rollerskates is my latest idea!0 -
No! Your doggie would look daft in them! :rotfl:.0
