Do you have enough spare for petrol, what if you need a new tyre or the bill for the service is a big 1. Find a job first but wide your net, think outside of the box, places like staples, currys, pc world, even mcdonalds/burger king/kfc would do, what about other shops within this new complex are they looking for staff ?
I know its hard looking for a job but keep at it and you will find 1.
Just out of interest what area is the new tesco, is it the yardley 1 ?0 -

Get another loan of course
This chap can't do the simple maths that he can't afford a loan or car without a job (clutching on the off chance that Tesco opens a store and employs him).
What happens when the car needs repairs?
What happens when you crash and have to pay an excess?
I could literally go on.0 -

got a quote using gocompare, said i was a provisional holder for a year, gave my home address, got a quote from collingwood car insurance for 1200Do you have enough spare for petrol, what if you need a new tyre or the bill for the service is a big 1. Well yea i have enough for petrol, won't be going far, too and from college and then the odd shopping trip with my mum to our local sainsbury's on the weekends. College is only 5 mins away from where i live.
Yea, i must admit, i need to try harder on the job front, i haven't had a chance to ask the other shops in the shopping complex but it is indeed the yardley shopping center.Bravehearted wrote: »Get another loan of course

no need to be rude, jim bob.0 -
an insurance quote for a provisional license holder is made on the basis that they will have an experienced driver with them at all times. I suspect that the moment you inform your insurance company that you now have a full license, your premium will double or trebble.0

Well your chances aith the tesco at yardley are low as all the jobs are now gone(found the story on google), you need to up your game then to find a job. You still wont have enough to cover repairs that are urgent, what if you need a tyre replacing or 2/3/4.0

On seperate advice, when you hand your CV in, make sure you hand it direct to the manager, get his/her name and then promise to call them at a later date to discuss your application.
It shows that you are keen and also if it is between you and somebody else and they know you will be following them up, they will likely choose you as in general humans don't like confrontation and they will have to explain directly that you do or do not have the job.
Also always asume you are being observed from the moment you walk in to the moment they give you a decision and always look smart and do not use slang or street type speech, talk politely and leave them with a great impression. Infusiasm is the key, when you are up against so many people wanting the same thing.0 -

here, seems you should have gone via Employment Partnership for the jobs.
Before you go to hand cv's out look for a careers/recruitment part of companies websites as some will only allow applications submitted online.0 -
