Live in Hull, looking for B/B alternatives

I live in Beverley East Yorks. We are part of the Kingston communications area. at the moment we are unable to get a BT line. I think this excludes us from any of the cheaper broard bands.
Does any one know of any alternatives?

There was an item on this on Watchdog (I think) the other week.
It Kingston or nothing I'm afraid.
ISPs say that the amount Kingston charge them make it uneconomic for them to provide a service in Hull. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
thanks for the info, wondering if you or any one else knows which program this was on for sure.
At the moment it costs me £17 a month for the broard band and another £25 a month on top for the telephone. We do get all numbers starting with 01 and 02 free in that price but pay etc for any other numbers called.
I figure there must be a way to get a cheaper alternative.

The item was on BBC 2 Working Lunch.
The only alternative seems to be to move out of the area.
I had a quick look and Karoo seem to offer packages from around £15/month.
