hi
im not sure if this needs to be in the techie chat or here, i have got a new samsung e900, i have never played music on my phone before, i have tried to put some on tonight but it says they have to be in either mp3, aac, aac+, m4a, or wma files. However can i get my songs off itunes onto there, if so how do i change their format?
sorry to be a pain

if the songs were bought from the itunes store they will be protected, so you can burn them onto a disk and re-rip them in itunes in the mp3 format.
to get them onto the phone, you can get a usb bluetooth dongle and send the songs over bluetooth, of if the phone came with a usb cable copy them onto the phone that way, or if the phone has a memory card copy them onto the memory card using a card reader0 -
A bluetooth dongle is very cheap and simple to transfer tunes to phones, Itunes songs are protected and its a lot of messing about to convert etc. But most songs you download onto a computer are MP3 and will be a piece of cake to send to your phone via bluetooth.0

Did your phone not come with a data cable?
If so, follow the instructions in the above post, and you'll be fine.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
