winter outdoor clothing for kids

TK Maxx are good - but it's a bit hit and miss on sizes and availability of items.
Cotswold Outdoor and Go Outdoors are good for good value outdoors clothes. I would also go with lots of layers - one thermal - to keep them warm, often works better than just a big insulated jacket.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -

there was some nice full ski suits in matalan a few weeks back and they had the gloves and stuff to go with them, or in mothercare they sell puddlesuits, not really great to keep the kids warm but will certainly keep them dry.0

Try TKMaxx their ski wear is usually reduced to clear by now

I bought the kids stuff from Muddy puddles, Winfields, Mountain Warehouse and eBay.
We are in the NE and it's the wind that cuts right through you. My Ds often wears his all in one suit over his school clothes to keep the wind out.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Have a look at sports direct, we bought thermal vests for four pounds each yesterday and they have ski jackets on special deal today.0

I was going to say that too! I got an email telling me this morning. I got my ds and dh thermals from there, they were really cheap (70% off lonsdale thermals). Aldi is good, but they only have ski stuff in sometimes. I got my running gear from them.MSE Forum's favourite nutter :T0 -
We got our DD a ski suit from sportsdirect which was quite reasonable priced. To be honest though it's not really that cold here at the moment so unless you are going skiing I wouldn't bother. Just put on a vest underneath normal clothing.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0
