aldi and lidl often have skiwear for kids and adults, not sure if they have them right now though.

Millets and Blacks are closing down I believe, certainly Millets here in my city has been having a sale for at least a month.

Primark today also had skiwear (some in their sale, some not) for kids and adults.

Can I just ask though, how far "north" are you going? Its just that unless you are going skiing, I wouldn't have thought you'd need skiwear and thermals for a trip "north".

I'm in the North East brrrrr!! :D

You could try Muddy Puddles, it does outdoor clothes (for kids) and is quite reasonable.

  • I was just going to say muddy puddles too. Are you passing boundary mill in Lancashire, or winfields as they have some too.

    What about TK Maxx?

They often have skiwear in. At the minute it's their final clearance too.

They had ski coats and salopettes for £5 and hats and gloves for £1 at ours.

We got our DD a Campri Ski coat for £5 and it's lovely.

Lidl have a big ski sale starting on 30th Jan - kids salopettes are priced at £7.99, jackets £9.99. Plus other associated ski wear. Details on their website

I would avoid Muddy Puddles like the plague. Check out their facebook page or the thread on the grabbit board. Very unlikely you would receive the goods in time for a trip in a couple of weeks, if at all.

Matalan also have a range of ski jackets, salopettes, etc... We bought some for DD and DS and they're really nice and very warm.
