My previous flood light was a 120watt so the 20watt bulb should be about the same brightness. Not bothered about it being dimmer than 500 watt tungsten as the light will be on all night as background lighting.If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0

Going back to the original question, try turning the sensitivity of the motion detector up to its maximum; you might find the motion of plants etc in the vicinity is enough to keep it tripped on.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0
