It's definitely worth it, just have a look at completed auctions to see what's worth what. My inlaws kindly () dumped a lot of DH's old junk from their loft here last time they came round. We made about £300 altogether from his old vinyl. It was mostly by Iron Maiden, although there was also a Bob Dylan record that went for about £30 on its own.

No chance your husband has another family elsewhere is there !!! :rotfl:

Maybe we should start a 'my husband has enough vinyls to melt and start a melted plastic factory' club

PS Does your hubby still have the hair ???
lol, not sure what you mean by "the hair", he still has his hair, jet black with a liberal sprinkling of grey, he hasn't had long hair since he joined the air force at 17 in 1983! even when he left 10 years ago , he has never grown it again, he has "richard hammond hair", in fact he looks a lot like RH! ( lucky old me).:p

  • If you find out they're average records and not worth so much, you could bung them on as a job lot, although P&P would be heavy so you could offer local pick up.
To maximise sales you should try and list all the stuff in the JL.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

My tip is to be honest about the condition. It's very subjective, what you call "Very good" someone else might call "Good" or only "Fair". Friend of mine sells a lot, he's received the odd neg like "Seller said Excellent condition but it was Very Good at best." (that was fo a £2 single!). If you only ever played it once to tape it back it 1982 and then stored it away then say it. I'd call that Mint. The fact that it had been played may mean someone else would call it Excellent, but not Mint. If it was played constantly for 6 months, sounds like a frying pan full of eggs at the start but doesnt jump, then its best to say that. I'd call that Fair.

    Got anything rare then? :)
