morning all!
weekend off for me:j - I work every other weekend so really look forward to the one I get off:T
Plans for today are
mountain of ironing and washing
cleaning
grocery shopping
Once most of that is out of the way I'm going to do a bit of painting - watercolours. Thanks to a bit of encourangement from some lovely friends I've decided to have another go at it. I used to do it about 15 to 20 years ago when my boys were small but then when I started full time work and there was just no time.
I've decided I need a hobby and some relaxation time so time will have to be made.
Forever - glad DSs GF is out of hospital.:T
Julie - well done on the weight loss:T
Sistercas - hope the back is soon better x

Happy Weekend everyone,
Still plodding along here, dull, grey & wet this morning which is not really motivating me to do anything. Need to do some baking at some point as there are no cakes or biscuits in the house & DP was reduced to buying some this week  Trouble is I can't stand for very long so a big session is not on the cards& it hardly seems worth getting everything out for just 1 batch.
Tappers.... saw your pics on facebook, you are very talented, I hope you always have time to paint x
JackieO hope the abcess is feeling better x
So may things/people I wanted to mention but my brain has shut down
Hugs, spoons & Hi5's where required x

Morning All
Popped over to Pets at Home to pick up some bits for the rabbit and they had the greyhound rescue people there with lots of the dogs looking for homes - I wanted to bring them all home there were about five with only three legs, bless! I can relate to that and they had a white one with a bandana saying I am deaf.
I am such a softy so I bunged a fiver into the pot (All the cash I had on me)
bargainbird I hope you feel better soon (((Hugs))) x
Julie...It makes me so angry how these companies are getting away with such low tactics
Forever Glad DS's GF is out of hospital, but sorry to hear that she has colitis, that is nasty (((Hugs)))
tappers I would love to see one of your paintings x
I admire anyone who can paint and draw.
Well I had better go and make DH a cuppa because he is still emptying the bedroom, at this rate I don't think he will start decorating until Monday :eek:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Hi, we made it down to the allotment and so glad we did. It was really quite lovely, no wind and sunny. The girls even took their coats off (mind you I did have them bundled up in millions of layers!) Harvested loads of parsnips and kale so going to make some parsnip and apple soup this afternoon. Also, going to have a clear out in the garden as getting some chickens in a couple of weeks and need to be ready (although i think it is just an excuse to get outside lol). Hugs to everyone who needs them xxFinally getting my life on track. Onwards and upwards.BSC No 327GC Jan £336.91/£450GC Feb £0/£4000
