If you haven't received anything about the pcn you will be able to get things set back by quite a bit, have you moved address or something as you should have had something through the post in regards to this ? And I don't believe it's the property of the court , though I may be wrong on that count.

By the way is the car under hire purchase ? Don't think a bailiff can legally take anything under credit ?

  • gods honest truth the first i heard of it was when he turned up then this morning in the post there was a notice of seizure (great timing)
the cars not on hire purchase or anything like that but we have the recipt from the garage and my partner has the proof in her bank statements that she paid for it, like i said the only reason i am now the registerd keeper is because ive been using it and taxing it since shes been ill and was told the person responsible for taxing it needs to be the registerd keeper.

he also sent me a text saying when its reported stolen who ever drives it will be arrested and taken to prison (he does not seem very clear on it himself)

My partner is taking the car to a bodyshop for an estimate on the wheel tomorrow but the wheels that are on the car from when she bought it are very rare alpina 19 inch magniseum wheels that on the internet are £700 a wheel!!!!!

He's really full of it. It will be interesting to see how he can report a car stolen that is the subject of a civil dispute. Unless of course he gives false information to the police.

To pre-empt his threat you could contact police, ask them to log the details as an incident and see if they will place an information report on the PNC to the effect that the threats have been made to report it as stolen. If they are prepared to do this it will show up should he manage to find a way to report a vehicle which he doesn't own as stolen.

Glad to see that you getting advice from the guys at Pepipoo , can't believe what the bailiff has actually written that on the paperwork he wrote to you, and the fees of over £800 for this is not right, https://www.bailiffadviceonline.co.uk is what they are recommending, and I think that is your best bet now.

Op has to beware and as advised keep on to the police about the "stolen2"keys and V5 as I fear, the bailiff has already done something with the V5 to transfer RK, once in possession of a new V5 he would report the car stolen

He has reported the V5 stolen already as I advised above.
