Flue Liner or not?

We are coming to the end of our house build and I'm looking to install a ClearviewVision 500 8kw Multifuel stove.
We have and Inglenook type fireplace that has a lined chimney conforming to the latest building regs etc.
I've had 3 HETAS approved installers out to inspect the job and 2 out of the 3 have said I don't need to fit a stainless steel liner when the installation is carried out.
I'm just looking for some advice as I don't want to pay for this unnecessarily.
What are your experiences and what would the pros and cons be.
Thanks

I think you've answered you own question, the chimney is lined already, so putting another flue in would be like used quad glazing!-Very,very efficient but is it worth the extra cost?0

DOnt bother. If its lined already, you are wasting money on a flue lining. If i were you, i would spend the cash on some decent sweeping rods, a brush and a hoover attachment to save cash on cleaning. Oh, get your flue pipe with an inspection hatch built in. Makes cleaning out the flue a doddle. Ash is good on compost and the slugs/snails hate it round your veg patch.0
