Cheers,I've got Kaspersky on disc so no need to download.I've used Belarc in the past but hadn't realised that it could spot driver issues.Thanks for the tip :-)OP - my recommendation once you have security on and done most windows updates (I would recommend updating to Service Pack 1 at least), is to run BELARC and see if there are any downloads for your motherboard (As well as whats on windows update). Ive had computers that whilst 'work' and show no signs of needing drivers, ran better with the proper drivers (especially audio drivers)0 -

Use belarc to determine exactly what motherboard you have then google to see if there are drivers specifically for it:idea:0
