i just saw tha ad from LG GM360 refurbished from e2Save for £31.90 + £10 Topup.

Without going into detail, you're better off with a new phone. Refurbished handsets have been known for issues in the past, I used to work for a large mobile phone retailer.

Well, according to CPW, new LG handsets have 12-month warranty.

According to e2save, refurbished LG "come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty" too.

(For the majority of other manufacturers it is 24 and 12)

Yes but the handset will be away for repair if you claim on the warranty, which is inconvenient and you might not get a 'loan phone' in the meantime.

Refurbished handsets have a much higher return rate than a 'new' handset, usually for similar faults.
