  • Without going into detail, you're better off with a new phone. Refurbished handsets have been known for issues in the past, I used to work for a large mobile phone retailer.

Well, according to CPW, new LG handsets have 12-month warranty.

According to e2save, refurbished LG "come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty" too.

(For the majority of other manufacturers it is 24 and 12)
  • Yes but the handset will be away for repair if you claim on the warranty, which is inconvenient and you might not get a 'loan phone' in the meantime.

Refurbished handsets have a much higher return rate than a 'new' handset, usually for similar faults.
