I think some don't have CCTV as they don't want to have anything to do with cars getting damaged etc. Some have signs saying they aren't liable.
It's OK I thought I'd missed a post or something.
No you are right to question it, the supermarket near me has the signs saying there aren't liable for damage to your car but the camera's are there to protect.
Perhaps the OP can clear up the CCTV and if there are witness's ect as they must have something as she has been suspended which is rare. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
If its the green and white supermarket you work for. They don't usually suspend unless there is a very strong possibility your actions may lead to gross misconduct.0

I wasn't answering that question though.Yes I can see where your coming from but how would you approach someone you just saw putting your things in there car?
CCTV cannot pick up tones and expressions all it shown is her putting something she didn't pay for in her car.
copa feela implied that you can't gauge someones "mood" by a short conversation. I was saying that i disagree & that you don't even need a short conversation. In fact getting down to it, you don't need any words at all at times.
I wasn't getting into the whole background of it all, just answering copa feelas question.0 -

I personally don't work for a supermarket, I work for an I.T company so the OP will be the only one to confirm what evidence they have.
Sorry to sound stupid but I dont even know what a green and white supermarket is?It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -

I see but how can one tell if someone is rude without even speaking? As that is what she said? It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
Well, Tesco's corporate image tends to be blue and white.
Sainsbury's go for orange.
I won't name names but it is not Morrison's!
Gosh it's not the one that begin's with A as there uniform is green and black oh crumbs yes the logo is green and white :rotfl:It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
I could approach you in an aggressive manner. You would instantly be able to tell from the look on my face that i was being confrontational & not happy.I see but how can one tell if someone is rude without even speaking? As that is what she said?
I'm not saying that this is what happened in OPs case, i'm just illustrating that it's one example of how you could spot someones mood without even exchanging words as copa feela seemed to be under the impression that you could only do this from a lengthy discussion.0 -

Yes I understand and can see what your saying. OP did say "i was approached by a very rude customer who asked me in a very irritated manner"
Due to the fact that she lied in the first place perhaps she has used this line to jusify her actions and this too may not be the truth.
We only have her side of the story of what happened and the customer may have another version to tell.
The only person whom know's the truth is the OP.It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
I did skim read, but i saw this bit."i was approached by a very rude customer who asked me in a very irritated manner"
Maybe, but i think a little too much judging goes on on MSE.Due to the fact that she lied in the first place perhaps she has used this line to jusify her actions and this too may not be the truth.
I'm not implying you are/do/have/don't, i'm just saying that from personal experience, certain members on here are too quick to judge without knowing the full story.
And that's the only side we're ever going to get, so we have to take it as right & therefore the side that OP will receive advice on.We only have her side of the story
If that leads OP into bother, that's their own fault for telling a distorted version of events.
When i come for advice, i try and give an accurate picture as i can to get as accurate advice as i can. The picture may not be 100% accurate, but it's the best i can do.0
