Sorry to correct you but in this case this is wrong. As I have already said this particular pump has both pos and neg head capability which is set by the flick of a switch.

    Cheers

Oops, thought it was an RSV50 (Positive head). Just re-read the original post.

Ignore the link to the instructions as they relate to an RSV50

No idea what the specified flow rate is off the top of me head. I'll have to look it up.

    Cheers

    Edit:

Can't immediately find anything spec'd for it but 5 l/m is awfully slow.

    Is it noisy in operation?

Does the pump start/stop on its own or run on after you turn the water off?

Almost impossible question for you to answer but did the instaler set up the flow switches properly?

How is it piped? ie can you please describe precisely how the pipe work is configured from both the hot water tank and the cold water tank to the pump? Alternatively a pic or two would be nice.

Are the isolating valves fully open?

By now you should be thinking in terms of picking up the phone and inviting him back to it. :D

    Cheers

    Duty point 1 – 1.3 bar at 10 litres/min
    Duty point 2 – 1.2 bar at 20 litres/min

  • So there is a problem but we will have to try to sort it out.

Well first of all as I've already mentioned a 1.5 bar pump ain't going to give you the same pressure as 3 bar mains.

Low flow rate is one of the symptoms of air in the system hence my earlier questions. Are you able to describe how it is piped for me?

    Cheers
