LOL @ RPTV, a bit of a length to go to for a pretend slim TV.

The 'no wires' look is pretty easy to achieve. I have done it twice in my house. The first time was easy as i drilled a major hole in the wall which went into the chimney (no longer used ;)) and then dropped the cables down including power inside the chimney. Then fished them through a hole in the bottom where the DVD player etc sat in a nice rack. Oh and the TV sits on a bracket, take a search on the net and DON'T pay the £200 they want for them in Comet.

The second one I chased the wall to the floor and sunk the cables into the wall, then replastered over the top of the cables. As I am not a master plasterer this was more difficult but looks really effective now! It should be even easier for people with new properties with stud walls!

It's also worth ensuring you run ALL cables you will EVER need to the TV. I had to do TV number 1 again recently for the HDMI cable!

Don't buy a rubbish tv that'll only last five years then :D You must be in one of the last regions to switchover. For us it's 2009 so not actually that far away.
