We have an airmiles household account. Can we split it and then transfer both portions to my BA avios account?
You will need to both have a BA account.
Then you need to ring Avios (use saynoto0870 to find a number) to have the household account split (they will want to speak to you both to authorise this). You will than each have half the points in your individual accounts. You can both then transfer the points in your individual accounts to your individual accounts with BA. Then, if you want/need to, you can have your two BA accounts joined to make a BA household account :)

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

    Quite :D
I'll keep an eye out - even if they take the full 28 days it'll still be a lot quicker than it potentially could have been.

Well, you're a lucky one. My standard points went on on 11 March and there's still no sign of the bonus ones.

Just chatted to the live chat on avios. They are as hopeless as the website itself. "Kelly" proceeded to ask everything bar my shoe size and then gave the generic answer that the points are awarded "within 28 days". She managed to sound stroppy even in chat, dread to think what she would be like on the phone.
  • Any more updates? Not happy if they aren't actually awarding within the 28 days!!
