Avios / Tesco Bonus Points Exchange

Has the 400 bonus miles been confirmed anywhere? (1000 per £2.50 voucher)
I don't want to risk "cashing" in my Tesco vouchers if it is only 600 miles.
How do we know for sure the additional 400 miles are going to be added?
Why is it taking 28 days for the bonus to be added?
I had hoped to book my flights as soon as not a month later

Cash in from 26 JanThe February bonus offer is open to all Tesco Clubcard holders and is valid when you exchange Clubcard vouchers for Avios between 26/01/12 and 31/03/12.
Bonus Avios will be awarded in a separate transaction within 28 days of Avios being awarded. Standard Avios take up to 28 days to be awarded.
400 bonus Avios will be awarded for every whole 250 Clubcard points or £2.50 in Clubcard vouchers exchanged.
*By joining to automatically exchange Clubcard vouchers between 16 November and 20 January 2012, you’ll also collect 400 bonus Avios as part of our February offer. That’s an extra 400 Avios for every £2.50 in exchanged Clubcard vouchers.0 -
Not satisfied with starting Christmas in September, Easter in January etc, Tesco are now starting "February" on 26 January! (And it's no longer the shortest month as they have decided it doesn't end till 31 March.)0

Appears you can transfer avios from https://www.avios.com to BA
From http://avios.faq-help.com/#
Q: Can I transfer the Avios in my British Airways Executive Club and Avios accounts?
A: You can transfer Avios from a British Airways Executive Club account to an Avios account in your name.
This won't happen automatically - but you can do it yourself. Just log in and click on the 'My Account' tab. Under 'Your Accounts', click on 'Combine My Avios' and follow the steps. Log in here:
• You can do it as many times as you want
• You can move them back again
• You can use the Avios straight away
• There will be no fee
• There will be no limit
So you may have to make sure the 400 bonus miles are in you https://www.avios.com account first from Tesco and then do a transfer to BA.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

Just a couple of points regarding the above for anyone considering doing this:
Anyone under 18 cannot have an Avios account so you cannot transfer any points they have in a BAEC account to an Avios Account, even if those points are in the family's household account.
You cannot transfer points from an household account, in either direction, only from individual accounts.
So if you have a household account with Avios and want to transfer to BA, you must first have the household account 'undone', put back to individual accounts (the points balance of the household account will be equally split between each individual account) then transfer the points, then have the household account re-joined.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs (offset): 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07,

It will take up to 28 days for the base points (600 per £2.50) to be added, then the bonus points (400 per £2.50) will be aded up to 28 days after that.
They say that it won't necessarily take that long in practice (no guarantees of course) but, in theory, you might have to wait 2 months to book your flights, not 1.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs (offset): 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07,

Ours also appeared instantly when transferred the other way, from BA to Avios (after two days of faffing about splitting the household accounts up first )2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs (offset): 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07,

We have an airmiles household account. Can we split it and then transfer both portions to my BA avios account?0
