    Hi Dianodors

I think you're right about the second job! I am going to write to the local supermarkets in my area and ask them to send me an application form for any positions they might have.

    Cheers

L-L, do write to the Abbey and ask them nicely to refund the charge. I've done this with credit cards when I've been a day or so late and they've always agreed. As long as it hasn't happened often I bet they'll agree. And hey the worst that can happen is a "no" so you won't be worse off. Got to be worth a go?!!

Had a reply from Abbey yesterday regarding my bank charges.....You know the usual we're sorry you're not happy blah blah blah..........

Well time for stage two! I'm going to follw laurajayne's advice and complain through the Financial Ombudsman. Seems a far more simple route than taking Abbey to court.

    So watch this space!! :j

Thought i would update my diary as I haven't done so in a while...

Well as some of you may have read in this diary i have an extortionate cahoot loan which i need to get rid of. I tried to top up my egg loan at the weeend but got declined which is a bit depressing but hey ho got to get on with it.

But i did apply for a new bank account at A&L and will be receiving a free £50 payment for joining! Woo...

I've decided that a second job at the moment is not an option as i'm working a lot of hours and i don't want to be anymore tired than i already am! I've still not got round to selling my stuff on ebay but i do have a lot of stuff and i hope to make anything up to £200 (because I have some alloys to sell as well!).

Still waiting to hear about my bank charges from the (Sc)abbey...I went through the financial obudsman so i hope to hear very soon!

    Anyway hope everyone is well.......:T

Had a reponse from the abbey this weekend and they are going to give a good will gesture of £600 of my £850 bank charges. I've decided to accept this asi don't really have the time or money to take them to court!

So that's my Marks credit card cleared with a bit of spending money for my weekend away in June.

I've also started applying for part time jobs as its going to take me forever to clear my debt with what i'm paying at the moment!

    That's all for now folks....!
