I think the UK is a bit obsessed with owning houses. Be smug that you rent. if your shower breaks it is the landlords stress and cost to fix it - not yours!!!!!:p

I will be selling a house to go into rented. I will buy again - maybe before I'm 40, maybe before I'm 50 - but only when it becomes worth it.

    Manias come and go.

Houses only go up in price - and so do bottles of Coca-Cola.

I haven't updated for a few weeks but here is a list of things which i'm going to pay off in the next week:

    1) I've just paid £150 off my cahoot loan (desparate to get this down a bit so i can top up my egg loan!)
2)A further payment of £200 will be coming off the cahoot loan on 3rd March
    3) £66 will be coming off my Egg Card around the same time.
    4) I've got a cheque for £30 from my old landlord which i think i'll pay off my cahoot loan.

So the ball has started to role! I'm going to have a mega clearout tomorrow and put a lot of stuff on ebay!

Does anybody know when the next cheap listing day is?

A target for me is to be under £15k by May payday!
