    Hopefully and along with the increase in personal tax allowance also due in April many people will hopefully be better off, which will certainly help to keep up with rising costs of bills/food/fuel etc.
    Dont wait for your boat to come in 'Swim out and meet the bloody thing' ;)

  • yeah the orindary dude on the street will take great heart from your other half getting a rise yeah things are looking up

    I recently heard that one of the chaps in my wife's team at work got a bigger bonus than he did last year.

    Maybe the floodgates are about to open?

    The 4% rise will increase graduate pay to £26,000.

    And you appear to have missed the fact that the number of graduate vacancies is predicted to drop.
