weird. it has finally decided to pair with the computer after multiple failed attempts. its working now so hope it works next time i turn it on! guess this thing may roll on and on. Maybe the services change you suggested Rik will resolve the issue (saw some postings about this around n about - must admit it was about a year ago i last looked around to try and find a resolution!)
Guess I'll go try it on my other laptops, see how I get on
Thanks folks!Friendly greeting!0 -
My last try:
One additional step I needed was I had an existing Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse showing in Control Panel Devices. I needed to delete that, then select "add device".:idea:0 -
May turn out to be the mouse (it was a refurb so may be errant itself - but given the volume of other folk that have had very similar problems with the same mouse on their W7 computers.... guess it'll be hard to tell!),As you've tried across multiple win7 machines, other BT kit works, and the mouse is explicitly win 7 compatible, then is it possible its faulty?
But as I say, working at the moment :-)Friendly greeting!0
