Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
The main reason I have stopped using Quidco is the £5 charge, any cashback I get there right now will be soaked up by the charge as it is over due (in fact I think they may want 2 by now).

However one other question why choose?

Some retailers are on quidco some not but are on TCB and so on.

I keep quidco for the ones who are on there but not TCB.

As to customer service from my experience TCB's is awful and they also have the same problem with retailers taking the p*. DSG have declined the last two despite one being completed online and the other where I provided receipt details.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
  • I have always used TCB as I do spend lots of Ebay but I see that has now changed and the Ebay options to click on do not cover what I am always buying so no longer to get cashback so now find myself looking for another cashback site.

I`ve going back to using Quidco. Recently had 2 high value transactions from Topcashback declined after 10 months of waiting.

I agree - I previously used both sites regularly but have now had two big transactions with TCB sitting doing nothing since November. The first of theses has now been marked as ""Resolved but Unpaid". I particularly dislike like the way they immediately close the claim so that you have no avenue for complaint.
  • will never use topcashback again. Went through them when i got my phone for £30 cashback. When i looked in my account on their site. It said £5.05 was due. Filled in the form they tell you to fill in if its wrong. this is what i was told.

    Hello,

Just to let you know that we've submitted your missing cashback claim to Talkmobile.

No Action is needed on your behalf, we'll let you know when there is an update.

Now we have submitted your claim we have to wait for a response from the merchant, this may take 2 – 3 months, but we will write back when we have any updates.

    Kind regards,

Feels like they just fobbing me off and i`ll never see any of that payment. Should have gone through quidco instead.

So...what do you all think now? Is it better to use topcashback or quidco? I'm making a Thorntons purchase and is I use TCB I get 8.08% but with Quidco it's double. Overall which would you recommend? Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I use both. Mainly Quidco though as I've used them for longer.

I'll just put the transaction through whoever is giving me the most cashback.

They're both pretty much the same as they use a lot of the same affiliate networks and it's down to them when merchants payout. I've found them both getting to be quite slow at paying these days.

I wonder how long they'll be around for now that companies seem to be moving away from "last click" to award the sale to (that's pure speculation on my part by the way, based on nothing other than my musings!)
