Quidco vs Topcashback

I always use topcashback because it pays the most cashback but I only ever hear Quidco mentioned here. Am I missing something?

Nope Quidco was the first entrant into the market so probably still gets more publicity. If Quidco offers are better than TCB you can use their highest cashback guarantee for Topcashback to match it!

But Quidco take £5 a year admin charge so wouldn't be very good if you only occasionally purchased stuff on-line..

TopCashBack doesn't charge a £5 fee and always seems to pay more than QuidCo too

Only one thing i've noticed with TCB as i've only just started with them.....

Applying for Santander accounts through Quidco - the amount has been paid up in full to the Quidco account already
Other family members who applied for the exact same on the exact same date but went through TCB have a predicted date of June/July for their funds to be ready.

    Bit of a difference.
  • You can get over 100% with tcb and also 5% off Amazon if you select the money you gained via cashback over weeks/months as amazon voucher

    Hi there,

Sorry to butt in here, but I have just picked up on the comment about payment timeframes for Santander as this did seem to stand-out.

@ K_P83 – Given the notable difference in payment speeds here we are concerned that this might need looking into. The estimated payment dates that we display to our members, are realistic indications as to when we can expect the cashback to be paid from the merchant based on previous performance and other payment conditions. Have you been able to withdraw the cashback you have been expecting for this transaction, are you able to provide us with more details?

If you feel the need to, please use the e-mail address in our ‘Public Profile’ to get in contact with us.

    Kind regards,

    Ryan

  • Quidco was not the first to offer cashback from affiliate marketing, they were one of the first however to claim to offer 100% of the cashback. Sites before Quidco tended to retain circa 50% but had no annual fees.

Always been a little cynical of any site claiming to give all the monies away after speaking to a number of marketing managers from large organisations - though have no direct evidence that these claims arent true (and even if it isnt 100% its still a discount)

Quidco narked off a lot of regular users (including me) a couple of years ago with a disastrous site relaunch, accompanied by some terrible customer service.

I, like many others, moved totally over to Top Cashback. In my personal experience I haven't looked back. As mentioned above, they don't charge a fee and I find they deal with enquiries pretty well.

    Just my view....

    Hi

Email has been sent for proof. Though i'm not sure whether you will discuss this as it's regarding my mothers & brothers accounts on topcashback & quidco. Quidco paid out within the month. My brother looks like he has to wait 6 months with TCB.
  • For me, the £5 Quidco cost is well worth it becuse I have a lot less problems with Quidco.

Its all too convenient that Topcashback seem to have too many transactions not tracking or not paying out...
