But it presupposes that the person paying has 'capacity' to do so, or has given PofA to the carer. And if the carer has PofA, there MIGHT be questions asked over the amount the carer has been paid / paid themselves.If someone wants to pay for a carer, they can. It doesn't matter if that carer is a relative.
That's the situation I mentioned - someone needing care choosing to pay a relative to care for them.0
