You are either male or maybe you didnt reach puberty as early as my DD?? Being 10 with boobs and periods is no fun when you just want to be like your friends...
The only person I know who reached puberty at primary age was my friend's big sister. I guess it must be coming more common these days (maybe all the oestrogen in the water supply...)

I'm 28 and we got changed at our Primary School until year 6 in the classroom as you have described, then in year 6 in the toilets as we did not have any changing rooms.
There were only 6 girls in my class (village school before classes got to thirty kids, I can't believe this but that is a different debate) and none of us started our periods at primary school (despite wanting to after reading "Are you there God? It's me Margaret"! Lol). But i can understand as she has developed early she would not feel comfortable. I'd have a quiet word with the school and ask them just to seperate the boys and girls, Coz was just thinking, if just your daughter gets changed in the toliets the others will ask why etc.

im in my 40s and i started periods at 11 and had breasts quite early. i didnt start at primary school, just after i left but there were many girls at primary school who had started their periods so i dont know where we get the idea that this is a 'modern' thing!

snap - I started my periods in the Summer holidays after finishing primary school, aged 11. I also needed a bra by that point.

We had just gone into bra's. But no one had started. However there was only 6 of us. By no way a modern thing starting early.

I honestly don't know if this is true but a nurse told me once early puberty has been linked to milk - I can't remember if she said it was something to do with hormones or anti-biotics or something?!

Anyway she advised me to only buy organic milk for my children, which I do

My girl was 9 when she started her periods first.

She was breastfed for 6 months and then drank follow on formula milk. She refused cows milk more often than not and even now age 12 wont drink it.

Maybe she's the exception though. :rotfl:

Is this not a case of being a little ott? Or have girls evolved suddenly in the past 20 years, genuine question

The girls that has little boobs in my primary school just turned round when they got changed, no one paid any attention anyway

    Lol, and mine!

I've posted before about how the boys in our primary used to pay one of the girls to show them her 'bits'. :rotfl:

I still remember walking round the side of the school and catching them, cos she did actually used to do it.
