Advice please

Hi there

I am not sure if this is the place to post so apologies if it isnt.

Basically my partners company could got into liquidation next week and I am worried about being able to cover our bills and mortgage :(

My partner is the main earner and is currently on a salary of £32,000 and I work part time earning £6,000. We have a young daughter and I am really worried.

If his earnings go then we will not be able to cover our outgoings.

I know I cant make any set fast plans until we know what is happening regarding his job but is there anything I should be doing in the mean time just in case?

Thanks in Advance

Hi there I'm afraid I dont know much about redundancy but I too am preparing for possible loss of job/income. I have started to look at cutting back on my outgoings, food, cable TV etc... there are some great posts on the Debt free Wannabe and Old style boards to help, and shopping around for cheaper insurance, gas & electric.
I also work part time and am going to look at increasing my income. Is here any way you can maybe ask for more hours at your current job? Sorry if this is not much help but good luck
