I see you're staying at Legacy - I think that's near Westridge where our ex-friends own a place. (Ex because the hubby is a chippie and put in my kitchen BADLY:mad:) Not sure when you went last but you must be near the 'new' ( a few years old!) Walmart. Sad, I know, but the night that we arrive we usually go to Publix and get their subs (Boars Head ones $1 extra!!). Always have the salad extras put in separate bags. They give you so much that you can be very mse and make your own salad the next day!

Not sure if you've said it but do you take out your own SI etc? We get the worldwide annual policy from carhire4less (thro' Quidco) and it saves a fortune plus no hassle at the airport when the carhire company try to flog you extra insurance. (Just what you don't need after a long flight!). Did you get your visas on the Homeland site? When I googled it loads came up that charge approx £54 each:eek::eek:. Wonder how many poor souls fall for it. Do you go to any of the parks? If so, have you any good deals on tickets? I like US/IOA. Up till a couple of years ago, you could get an annual ticket with a 3 month bonus from Costco (Waterbridge) for $80 inc tax. It was brilliant because it would last us for two holidays and included the parking. Also got my camera at Costco as was on promotion at approx $100 - it was about £370 here at the time! Bargain.

A non touristy place that we will try this year is Leu Gardens, exit 85 off the I4. OH is into photography and has been told it's good. Shall wait and see.

    Have a lovely time.

V quickly someone on here mentioned the new Walmart & Publix, we usually go way down 192 to Kissimmee so that will save time.

First stop after picking up the keys McDonalds for my Mum (I know but what can you do) & Cracker Barrel for me & I found out there is one 10 mins away rather than going downtown. Looking forward to exploring 27

Its about 4 years since I last went & before that I can't even remember how many times I've been but if its for security I suppose we go along with it. Getting ready to do the 100ml bottles etc

We don't bother with any liquids in hand luggage, put all toiletries in suitcase. Virgin usually give you a wash pack onboard with toothbrush, paste and wipes. Drinks onboard virgin are free too.

TSA locks are available at Tesco and Asda, we've used them for last few trips with no problems.
  • The barcodes on yellow labels are unique and it will scan at the price marked ie £24.50
Thats what I was worried about - but spoke to DH and he said buy it at that price anyway - so im off in a bit !

    Cheers

Fingers crossed there is internet as promised when I get there but it will be skim reading.

Forgot to say I got ESTA before you had to pay & Fully inclusive Car hire which worked out more or less the same, no I can't bear all the hassle at the airport picking the car up either. Thanks all for your good wishes & advice.

    Take care everyone
