Right, I got a packet of mince out of the whoopsie section yesterday so I think I'm going to throw a spag bol in the slow cooker then freeze it in portions seeing as I have room in the freezer. An empty freezer uses more energy than a full one and I can't be having that!0

Ok, I have a random phone related question for you lovely Elite
I got the Samsung Galaxy S2 about 3 weeks ago, and whenever I call anyone they keep telling me it's a really bad line and they can hear themselves and it echos. So called Vodafone about it this morning and the guy said he could hear it too and that as I have an old sim card, I should get a new one so I've to pop into the shop and they'll give me another one free of charge.
Is that right, can an old sim card really effect call quality? Sounds rather random to me! Will give it a shot, but I'm now thinking was he just trying to get me off the phone :rotfl:
The sim card is really old, I've had the same number and sim for nearly 10 years!...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I usually shop in Dumfries as it's nearer work, but I live in South Lanarkshire so I get to mooch round those stores when I get spare time. W1sh4w is about the only local store that still has a working scanner, so it's always worth a look - managed to get free phones there after xmas :j Keep me posted with any good finds and I'll pm you if I see anything
le5mahagow still has a working scanner in the sweetie aisle but the one by the dvds has been broken for a while:(Dwaine_Pipes wrote: »I shop there also, no wonder there isn't much left by the time I get there!!!!!!:rotfl:

Gonna be heading out soon, United and Liverpool on tele!
Just waiting on my mum getting out of work to see where she's going and probably tag along. Just depends on where she's going but so bored and don't fancy watching even more football, seems to be all my dad watches is it any wonder no one stays in after work!!!!
Have to go to Currys, someone broke DSes TV plug and isn't it one of those with the transformer in the plug so have to buy a new one, wouldn't mind but it's just under a month old and not sure if the 'whatever happens' thing covers the plug.
Feel like screaming as it always seems to be his things getting broke. Even when they're put in his toy box they're not safe, someone sat on it and broke the whole box so DS has been checking them all for someone with a sore backside but still doesn't know who done it! Maybe it's the mouse that runs about the sitting room floor at night while I'm watching tele who's done it
Can't wait until Tueday next week to find out if I'm getting a firm offer of the house I've been invited to be considered for.
Is it bad that I'm hoping no one else gets their letter until after Tuesday?
I was on the phone to them the second I went to have a nosey and knew it would do. I'm hoping that it will be mine because I've been at the top of the list for so long but also thinking about if someone else gets it first. Either way I'll get something soon and that's what I'm holding on toSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Don't let Currys fob you off ( they will try ) it is supposed to be whatever happens you get a replacement. Then again if you'd read anything on CAG then you'd think it meant 'whatever happens we're not gonna do anything for you '.
Good luck on the house0 -
Just got some lovely tangerines from T's, after spending half an hour peeling the bliddy thing, it's horrid and sour - going back then! Hadn't bought citrus from them since the sour satsumas a couple of months ago, seems their standards haven't changed! :mad:madmuppet5 wrote: »The couple in the flat next door are moving out.
