anyone had price check e mails back today yet?
Hello my name is nahteb20 and i am a T's Glitch & Bargainaholic.......
  • Afternoon all! Wanted to post last night but it wasn't happening, not sure if it was the website in general or my internet access!

Had a bit of a result in one of my locals yesterday afternoon but for some reason have been feeling a bit funny about it ever since. Spotted some Denby still marked down at £56 amongst other SELs of £85. Ummed and Ahhed and then thought 'what the heck, why not??' so i picked it up and paid at a manned till. The SA on the till was like 'wow thats expensive, did u realise it was that price?!' to which I played dumb! 'Yeah Yeah, thought it was about £80 ish'! (I must have looked like someone who wouldn't normally buy expensive china lol).

I then trekked back upstairs to the CS desk to explain my overcharge. Eventually had to show the lady where I'd seen it. Then had to trek back downstairs to get overcharge sorted coz apparently they can only do refunds upstairs!

By this point I was getting quite stressed that I was going to be late to pick up DD from playschool and that the SA who had been surprised at the price would spot me at customer services!

The Various CS assistants then spent a little time mumbling to each other before giving me DTD.

Now, I should feel pleased with this outcome but for some reason have had a funny feeling ever since! Not sure if it's my conscience or if I'm paranoid they were mumbling about me and that I'm now on their radar!

LMAO that'll be Tesco paranoia. Afflicts us all from time to time, don't worry about it.

Ask you GP for some anti tesco paranoia pills, he'll see you alright. ;)

Will tell you about other item when have got dtd back in morning, this particular thingy should go down very well on this thread, given the actual price paid after dtd, there were loads of them :D
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.
  • There's excellent stuff for toothache called "Orajel rapid relief of toothache"... I bought this is T's for my OH, its a gel form like bonjella, but if you get it on your lip or tongue it numbs it... But its excellent stuff..
I think boots sells it too..

I'll second that! Best over the counter stuff you can buy, I always recommend to friends and they always say its great and got rid of pain in minutes, they sell it in asda as well, that's where I buy it

    afternoon Elite!

been lurking last few days and playing catch up... thank god for the forum works last night as otherwise I would stand no chance! :p

    bad toothache here :(:(:(
and it's my own fault as I had it back in the summer, been in bad pain 5+ days ending in A&E begging them to give me anything to stop the pain :( and once the second lot of antibiotics worked I forgot all about it! then we were moving and I was looking for work etc. The dentist warned me it will come back! :(
So I'm now suffering for the third day, finishing off the useless antibiotics the dentist gave me last time and it doesn't work! went to the GP surgery for better ones but they refused to see me as I'm not registered yet and it will take them 7-10 days! :( so I'm now taking 2 neurofens and 2 panadols every 2-3 hours and waiting for bf to come home and take me to some walk in clinic :( keeping the tramadol for the worst that is probably yet to come :( *crying like a baby and wanting her mummy*
I soo can't stand pain, I can't magine giving birth to a baby! It's probably what puts me off most!

sorry, had to tell someone :o bf is sick of listening to me :o

Gimme your postcode, I'll go get my big pliers out the garage.............

Joking aside I have a large back tooth that flares up now and again that I really need to get sorted but I don't even have a dentist and have a morbid fear of em!! :(
