One more question - I can see that the posts say x number of thanks, but how do I do that? Is there a 'Thank you' button that I am blind to? Help please! Glass Pig - P/fi3lD is not my local - thankfully, with that awful staff member - I was visiting: Lovely town.
Thanks button at bottom of each person.s post ( only shows up if you are logged in)0 -

Thanks Tweets - was so obvious I couldn't see it! I'm like that in Ts too - always ask where something is and the staff go "There" and point behind me!! Hubby away tonight so will have time to sit and read this properly - have been doing a lot of 5pm shopping for cheapies recently and it's so great to find a bunch of like-minded people!!!!Hope everyone has a happy Friday night - whatever you do!

I've rang the housing accociation to let them know I'm interested but because they've sent out a lot of letters they have to wait until Tuesday to see who's top of the list.
Showed DS the outside of it and he doesn't want to move there!! He wants a back garden not a front one to put his trampoline in, after all the homes we've seen without either he's now decided to pick up on this :rotfl:
I told him he can stay where he is then and have no trampoline, that I'd take the dogs and we'd have fun on his trampoline. He's worried about someone just deciding to be nasty and wrecking it on him, I understand this but we need out of where we are and soon for my sanity's sake!
Can you check if the alley way is used at night by teenagers or any unsavoury types etc. It would be awful if you jumped at the offer that you may get and then found something out like this. Its not the reason the present tenant wants out is it? Not trying to pour cold water hun, but want you to consider as many things as poss.0 -
off to get some clove oil(thanks Gemini Jes! I never knew about it! and brill jokes too!) will pass on the whisky tazmac25 as I hate it but should it get REALLY bad tonight I have 1l of vodka and won't hesitate to drink it all if I must to stop the pain...
feel like the tramadol time is coming if the clove oil won't help...0 -

If he has been included with the SEN group he should have one in place which will outline what the school is going to do to support him and help him to achieve his targets.
Fingers crossed about the house
I don't know about IEP, we got letters home at the start of last school year with different suggestions of how they were going to help him.
They wanted to see if the class would help but he kept telling us and his teacher that the tutor only spent her time on one or two of the kids.
He was put into a friendship group for kids who didn't seem to have friends in their own year, I must admit he did enjoy that and the teacher taking it but that was only for 6 weeks. I wish it was longer because he was happier when he was in it but then DH died and DSes time in the group was over. I think it would have helped him a little to still have had that routine when he went back to school.
They seem to just try out things for a few weeks then move on to something else, they never give things a chance to sort it out.
His year 5 teacher was great, she gave him somewhere to go if he felt he was starting to get angry. It was just outside the class but it meant that no one else could see him getting upset and she would know where he was. That helped a lot because it was what we do at home, she noticed the change in him, he was more confidant and calmer in class but none of the rest can be bothered with that!
I'm dreading secondary/high school :eek:SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

SpirallingDown you can also get information from the local police station. When we moved to this house we spoke to a couple of local officers who were more than happy to tell us what the area was like from their point of view. I found it to be really helpful and it definitely played a part in my decision to move here. HTH.0 -

Hi all,
Czerniacha, my dad used to get recurrent abscesses in his mouth a few years back and used a dissolvable painkiller which he would hold in his mouth for as long as he could against the painful area.

been lurking last few days and playing catch up... thank god for the forum works last night as otherwise I would stand no chance!
bad toothache here:(:(
and it's my own fault as I had it back in the summer, been in bad pain 5+ days ending in A&E begging them to give me anything to stop the painand once the second lot of antibiotics worked I forgot all about it! then we were moving and I was looking for work etc. The dentist warned me it will come back!
So I'm now suffering for the third day, finishing off the useless antibiotics the dentist gave me last time and it doesn't work! went to the GP surgery for better ones but they refused to see me as I'm not registered yet and it will take them 7-10 days!so I'm now taking 2 neurofens and 2 panadols every 2-3 hours and waiting for bf to come home and take me to some walk in clinic
keeping the tramadol for the worst that is probably yet to come
*crying like a baby and wanting her mummy*
I soo can't stand pain, I can't magine giving birth to a baby! It's probably what puts me off most!
sorry, had to tell someonebf is sick of listening to me
Luckily, I tried clove oil and it really helped. Might sting at first, but it numbs the pain. I would definitely reccommend trying it.
Hope it gets better soon x:A0
